When you honor God and accept Christ’s sacrifice, you’ll win the Spiritual battle.
-
When you trust the Holy Spirit, you’ll win the battle for your soul.
-
When you act like Christ, you’ll win the physical battle.
Romans 8:5-8, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, John 14:14:6, 11, 15-17, 23, 26.
Use your faith so you can “hold fast” to what is good (Hebrews 10:23). While you may feel a variety of emotions in REACTION to the circumstances you face in today’s broken world, hope will remind you to RESPOND in a way that
reflects who you are as a Child of God. Accept (rather than reject or discount) who you are in Christ. Learn how to use the mind of Christ and then bind yourself to God’s Holy love so you practice Christian Cognitive Consistency and experience the peace and promises of God (2 Peter 1:3-8, Isaiah 25:8, 26:3, Psalm 89:34, 2 Corinthians 1:10, Matthew 11:29, Romans 15:4, 8, Revelation 21:4).
Actively rest in your Christianity. Believe and receive the Word of God and fight any lingering doubts (or, as the Bible terms it in Mark 9:23-25, your “unbelief”) so you can focus on your relationship with God and be motivated by hope. Psalm 90:14, 17 reminds us to look to God and ask Him to "satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days ... ." Then the Psalm ends with the correlation between God's favor and grace with your walk of faith; "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!"
Show Your Belief - Be and do love for Love!
(Appendix 1A, 1J, 1S, 2J, 2Q, 2T).
Trade anxiety for the confidence and contentment of being in Christ; it’s the perfect will of God for your life (1 Thessalonians 5:18, 21-23, Romans 8:28-29, 12:2, Ephesians 4:22-24).
Be an intentionally optimistic, considerate Christian.
Do love by fully expressing the Holy Spirit in your behavior!
Psalm 107:8-9 says,
"Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things".
Do not stifle the Holy Spirit that's in you, instead, use your faith to be pray and you'll be joyful, hopeful, thankful in every circumstance (Romans 12:11-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17, 19, 24).
